Harmony Provides training workshops that are valuable resources for those who aspire to work in the field of Autism, family members of Autistic individuals and current therapists who would like to improve their skills. Vacancies
Internship
Harmony House is pleased to announce its second round of intern training/mentoring. As a centre dedicated to inclusion and consulting ABA services we are excited to move towards training interns. The internship will commence in January 2010.
The prospective intern should have:
· Worked with at least 6-10 children over the past three years. The children worked with should have been of varying levels in their programming (various ages and programming focus)
· Worked as a lead for over 2 years with 3 children
· Had experience in school settings as :SEA/therapist/preschool assistant (desirable)
· Be available to train for 12 months starting January 2010.
The prospective intern will begin training in January 2010 . Training will include both class time and field work under the supervision of an ACT approved consultant. The prospective intern must have a Bachelor’s in psychology or related field (education/social work) and must be willing and qualified to pursue a Master’s degree. ABA Home Teams
As an educational facility Harmony House is always looking for individuals with ABA experience to help our families run quality and effective home programs under the guidance of our highly qualified Behaviour Consultant.

July Summer Preschool Assistants needed:
Summer school will be held the first three weeks of July M-Th 9am -12 noon. Interested applicants should send their resumes and current criminal record check (copy) to hhschoolteam@gmail.com. Preschool SEA’s (September 2010 to June 2011)
Harmony House preschool program operates Monday / Wednesday / Friday mornings 9:00-11:30am. The Harmony House SEA’s work closely with all the children in the preschool facilitating social and cognitive skills and providing additional support to the children diagnosed with Autism.
Harmony House will be expanding their preschool team of teachers for the fall of 2009 and asking that interested candidates submit their resume by May 30th, 2010.
