Every child at Harmony House is given the individual attention to ensure that they their learning is directed by their natural interests and aptitudes. By capitalising on every childs natural strenghts, Harmony House will ensure that our children obtain the skills necessary for school readiness both socially and academically.
The uniqueness of the preschool is inspired by the uncommon opportunity for the children to be learning side by side with children with Autism in a fully integrated classroom. All of the children will have the opportunity to learn to communicate non verbally using PECS and sign language and Harmony House especially emphasises acceptance, diversity and understanding. Our intention is to prepare all of the Harmony House children to approach life and all people with those same values that the staff maintains in the classroom.
